The OVT Bay Beach
Woo! Your private bay beach!
Our private, guest-only bay beach sits directly across the beach road from the inn, with complimentary loungers, Adirondack chairs, and shade umbrellas. The shoreline is a little rocky at the water's edge, then gives way to soft sand and calm, shallow water that stays waist-deep far out — great for kids. Lifeguards not on duty — swim with caution. After a day on the bay, cool off at our seasonal pool — just steps from the beach.

Sun, Sand & Surf
Tiana and Ponquogue roughly 11 minutes; Coopers ~12 minutes. Most lifeguarded beaches charge seasonal parking fees. Complimentary Southampton beach passes (covering those parking fees) are available at our front desk, first-come, first-served.
Coopers Beach does NOT honor the Southampton beach pass.
Meschutt Beach
1,000 feet of beach on Peconic Bay. The Meschutt Beach Hut — live music, beach food, cocktails. Snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing. Lifeguard-protected, picnic areas, playground. Dog friendly. Free after 4pm.
Tiana Beach
Powdery clean white sand, quiet. Onsite bathroom facilities and a small concession stand. Plenty of volleyball courts with nets up Memorial Day through Labor Day, occasional whale sightings.
Ponquogue Beach
Family atmosphere, run by Town of Southampton. Concessions, restrooms, showers, picnic tables. Lifeguards on duty during summer season (not after Labor Day). No alcohol or fires.
Coopers Beach
500 feet along Atlantic shoreline. Views of historic mansions. Beach bar/restaurant on-site. Umbrella and chair rentals. Does NOT participate in Southampton Beach Pass.

HampTiki Boat Cruises
Get out on the bay in style. HampTiki runs captained, Coast Guard–inspected tiki-boat charters right here in Hampton Bays — gather your crew, bring your own drinks and snacks, and cruise Shinnecock and Peconic Bays. One of the most fun ways to spend an afternoon or a sunset on the water.

Practical Info
Early Check-in
Standard check-in is 4 PM (checked-in guests must be 21+). Early check-in from 10 AM, subject to availability: $75 + tax before 2 PM — we bump your room to the top of the housekeeping list and do our best to have it ready. No fee after 2 PM.

Per 8-gallon bag. Self-service not available.
