Sun, Sand & Surf
Tiana and Ponquogue roughly 11 minutes; Coopers ~12 minutes. Most lifeguarded beaches charge seasonal parking fees. Southampton beach pass available from our front desk, subject to availability.
Coopers Beach does NOT honor the Southampton beach pass.
Meschutt Beach
1,000 feet of beach on Peconic Bay. The Meschutt Beach Hut — live music, beach food, cocktails. Snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing. Lifeguard-protected, picnic areas, playground. Dog friendly. Free after 4pm.
Tiana Beach
Powdery clean white sand, quiet. Onsite bathroom facilities and a small concession stand. Plenty of volleyball courts with nets up Memorial Day through Labor Day, occasional whale sightings.
Ponquogue Beach
Family atmosphere, run by Town of Southampton. Concessions, restrooms, showers, picnic tables. Lifeguards on duty during summer season (not after Labor Day). No alcohol or fires.
Coopers Beach
500 feet along Atlantic shoreline. Views of historic mansions. Beach bar/restaurant on-site. Umbrella and chair rentals. Does NOT participate in Southampton Beach Pass.

Our peaceful bayfront grounds are a favorite spot for guests to practice yoga on their own. Several excellent studios are also nearby for classes and workshops:
